Live from the Artists Den
Live from the Artists Den is a critically acclaimed television music series best known for presenting intimate concerts by iconic artists in untraditional, often historic settings. During my tenure at this Emmy-nominated series, I had the privilege of working on the shows mentioned below.
Artists Den Entertainment is an intimate company led by a small team of driven creatives, meaning everyone had their hands on various elements of production, marketing, live event coverage, and artist scouting. As the PR and marketing lead, I was tasked with working with artist teams and our sponsors directly to make sure our shows were being targeted to the right audience, writing press releases for announcement and post-show content, organizing VIP audience members, and attending each show from start to breakdown to ensure the entire event ran smoothly. Additionally, I created the company’s social media channels, all in which organically accrued thousands of followers in an era before TikTok in which engagement and audience acquisition was purely from word of mouth and smart marketing.
For each of the shows mentioned below, I wrote the press releases for the show announcements and coordinated announcement posts with artist teams, often providing copy to A list celebrities and their teams, wrote season announcements to local and national media, selected winning audience members and ensured all tickets were disseminated accordingly, ran the company social media channels, including paid media, trained on-site PAs and instructed them on various day-of elements, captured live content of the events for company, artist, and sponsor socials, writing interview questions for each artist, and more.
